Al Speert, also known as “The Metal Man”, started metal sculpting as a hobby in 1974. His work consisted of a variety of home and garden décor and it wasn’t long before locals and visitors became attracted to Al’s work. As a result of the demand for his ever-creative art, Al sold his wares at Arts and Crafts Shows across the country. After four years, he decided to open his own studio. Located in Tucson, Arizona, The Metal Man continues to expand in quality and variety of decorative merchandise.
